William L. Gordon

William "Bill" L. Gordon, 78, of Bremerton, passed away on September 27, 2008. He was born on December 2, 1929 in Holliday, TX to William and Goldie (Fort) Gordon.

In 1958 at Reno, NV, Bill married Ruth Goldsmith. She preceded him in death in 1996.

Bill served in the US Navy from 1949-1958. He worked as a Warehouseman at PSNS. Bill was a member of the Bremerton Elks, VFW Post 239 and a life member of Cooties. Bill was also a member of Westside Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on October 1st from 12pm-5pm and on October 2nd from 12pm-2pm. A funeral service will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on October 2nd at 2pm. Interment will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
