Wesley C. "Sonny" Morton

Wesley C. "Sonny" Morton, 83, of Bremerton, passed away on February 22, 2017.

Wes was born on May 5, 1933 in Roaring Springs, PA to William C. and Bertha E. (Stoehr) Morton. Wes served honorably in the Korean War with the US Marines from 1953-1956.

He married Lois A. Bozeman on December 15, 1957 in Bremerton.

After serving his country, Wes went on to work at PSNS for the next 38 years in Shop Store 67 as a supply clerk and retired in 1980. Wes later worked as part of the auction staff for Stokes Auction.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul; and sister, Carolyn.

Wes' memory will live on with his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Lois; sons, Mark, Peter (Cathy), Paul (Carrie); daughter, Laurie; sisters, Sharon and Kathy; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Micah, Seth, Bethany, Elijah, Parker, and Lexi.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 28th at 1pm at Silverdale United Methodist Church. Private interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
