Wayne Francis Dingee

Longtime Bremerton resident, Wayne Francis Dingee, 91, passed away at his daughter's home in Medford, OR on Feb. 25, 2009. He was born Nov. 17, 1917 in Spokane, WA to Winfield S. and Ethel F. (Chase) Dingee. Wayne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Architecture. He served in the US Army during WWII. He married Ruth Louise Foster in Charleston, SC on August 1, 1943. Wayne worked in the Poultry Dept. at Washington State College, as an Estimator for L.G. Ferguson Painting Contractors in Charleston, SC; the family poultry farm in Charleston, SC and for Dingee Enterprises, painting and estimating in Seattle, WA before retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Central Valley Kingdom Hall. He enjoyed poultry farming, woodworking and birding. Wayne is survived by his daughter Patricia Ann Stancel of Medford, OR and granddaughter Karen O'Connell of Salem, OR and 1 great-grandchild. Wayne was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery next to his beloved wife Ruth whom died in 1995.
