Virginia Carolyn Kilpatrick

Virginia Carolyn Kilpatrick, 77, of Port Orchard, passed away on May 4, 2016. She was born on June 24, 1938 in Pensacola, FL to James A. and Hallie G. (Murphy) Franklin. She graduated from South Gate High School in South Gate, CA. Carolyn married William T. Kilpatrick in Camarillo, CA. She worked as a Technical Editor for 18 years and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Carolyn enjoyed walking, playing the piano, studying and teaching the Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sons, Robert G. Kilpatrick and Kirk T. Kilpatrick; sister, Rachel Potter; and 4 grandchildren. Carolyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She lived a full and generous life, giving herself to others. She is now with her Lord after a heroic battle with brain cancer. She will be missed by her family and friends
