Tim M. Coyle

–

Bremerton, Washington

Tim Coyle passed away at age 57 in Tacoma, WA on December 17th 2014. He was born in St Louis, Missouri on May 20th 1957 to James and Jane (Preston) Coyle.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1979 to 1983. He was a crane inspector/supervisor. He is survived by his father, James; his best friend and wife, Joni; his sons, Jacob and Micah; his daughter, Lexi; and his siblings, Chris, Sandy and Cathy.

Tim Coyle had his share of struggles in life, but he turned to God and never looked back. He loved serving others, and he especially loved working on cars. He could tell you the year, make and model of a car just at a glance!

If he could have done anything else in life, he probably would have been an inventor. He was always coming up with things he wanted to invent (like pizza shears and cat tents). He was also known as "Mr. Fix-it" - anything he built was guaranteed earthquake-proof!

He had the goofiest sense of humor, and you just couldn't help but laugh at his corny jokes. He had a way with people - People he barely knew would tell him their life story, and he would listen. He was one of the most genuine and caring men, and his faith in God was a huge part of his life.

Even in his final weeks and days, he would share his faith with the hospice nurses. His motto over the past 2 years was "it will be okay." Anything bad that happened was "just a bump in the road." He was so strong and courageous, and he gave God all of the credit.

Tim Coyle's life has impacted so many people in such a positive way. We should all strive to be more like him; to have a servant's heart. He will be sorely missed, but what an amazing legacy he has left behind.
