Terrence Michael Simons

Terrence Michael Simons, 63, died at home in Bremerton on Thursday, August 31, 2006. He was born to Maurice and Louise (Danielson) Simons on July 9, 1943 in Bremerton, WA. He attended North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, WA where he graduated in 1962. He married Kristy K. (Korb) Simons on August 29, 1964 in Silverdale, WA. Terry and Kristi started Silverdale Plumbing & Heating in 1975. In 1997 they moved the business from the original location in old town Silverdale to the Fairfield Business Park. Terry also developed residential and commercial real estate including Huckleridge, Rosewild & Twelve Oaks (housing developements) and Simons Buildings on Byron St. in Silverdale, Mickelberry Business Park & Fairfield Business Park, also in Silverdale. Silverdale Plumbing was a founding donor of the Kitsap Community Foundation. Terry was a life member of Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Arizona Elk Society. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time on his ranch in Montana. He is survived by his wife Kristi Simons of Bremerton; his son Blake Simons and wife, Jody of Roy, MT; his daughter Kerri Simons-Morkert and husband, Brian of Bremerton, WA; his brother Mark Simons of Poulsbo, WA; his sister Laureen Milbrath of Vashon Island, WA; his grandchildren Rachael and Seth Simons, Brianne, Haley and Kali Morkert.
