Tami Sue (Jordan) Tromley, age 51, passed away on October 25, 2016 due to diabetic complications. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was a beautiful, caring and kind soul who lived a simple life. Tami never complained when sick or in times of trouble. She never asked for much while unselfishly giving to others. She will always be known as a giving spirit with a compassionate heart who loved God.
Tami (nicknames "Pee Wee", "Susie" and "Toodles") was born December 22, 1964 in Fullerton, CA. She graduated from Esperanza High School in 1983. She had competed on the High School JV Gymnastics Team and also learned to play the Viola in band class. She enjoyed playing on the local girl's recreational softball league, Bobettes, for several years.
As a child growing up in rural Yorba Linda, Tami was usually found in the creek catching pollywogs and crawdads or playing in a fort built with neighborhood kids. Some of the many activities she enjoyed were swimming, bowling and gymnastics. She had always loved roller skating and would go weekly to Skateway Roller Rink (usually winning free skate passes at "speed skating" or the "limbo"). She enjoyed watching King Kong/ Godzilla movies and TV Westerns. Her favorite cartoon was SpeedRacer.
Tami had always been obsessed with motorcycles, dirt bikes and off-road toys. She skillfully raced around on her dirt bike just like one of the boys. In fact, more than once we heard "that girl can ride a dirt bike!" She also loved riding around on her cherished Kawasaki Ninja street bike. She was always so carefree and happy while riding those bikes. She also enjoyed horseback riding, always wanting to run the horse full speed. Such a daredevil, she loved going fast and was quite fearless.
Tami loved her children very much. She gave birth to her two beloved sons, Jordan and Shane, who she adored and had made her so proud. She was married to husband Evin Tromley for over 18 years also had a step-daughter Erica she always kept close to her heart. They all moved to Bremerton WA over 15 years ago and for a few years, she finally had her chickens and vegetable garden. She really loved living in the forest with the slower pace from city life. Always anticipating a sunny day in WA, she couldn't wait to float on her raft on the local lake.
Holiday traditions Tami highly enjoyed were lighting snakes/glow worms on the 4th of July, dying eggs for Easter and building gingerbread houses at Christmas. She spent her spare time making crafts of all kinds including candle making and tye-dye projects. She especially enjoyed making seashell boxes/gifts for family and friends.
Tami loved nature and ALL of God's creatures. She was always one to rescue or bring stray animals home and cried when seeing them in pet store cages. While driving, she once came upon an injured owl in the road, immediately stopped, wrapped it in a blanket and took it to a local Animal Rescue. She especially cherished her loyal dog CeeCee who brought her joy and never left her side.
She is survived by her husband Evin Tromley, sons: Jordan Wells, Shane Jordan, step-daughter Erica Tromley, mother Sharon Paris, step-father Basil Paris, sister: Sherry (Kerry) Reves, nephew Jake Reves, Auntie Dana Caldwell, many cousins and family members, dog CeeCee. Preceded in death by her father James Jordan.
Tami's family and friends will always keep her loving memory in their hearts.
Good night, sleep tight. We ALL love you so much. xoxo.
