Sue W. Strickland Obituary (1943

Sue Strickland, 75, passed away of Alzheimer disease on September 14, 2018. Sue was born on April 30, 1943 to William and Helen (Bezowsky) Berbower in Seattle, WA. She graduated from North Kitsap High School and worked for the City of Winslow, Bainbridge Island School District, and the bankruptcy court in Seattle before retiring. Sue and James Lester Strickland were married April 11, 1964 and had two children, Steven and Scott. Sue is survived by her loving husband, James Lester Strickland; sons, Steven (Lisa) and Scott; sister, Carol Thorne; niece, Susan Lindsey; nephew, Keith Thorne; 9 wonderful grandchildren, James, Esther, Christopher, Mathew, Anna, Elizabeth, Nathan, Eli, and David; and the extended Strickland family. Our family will always remember Sue loving flowers, the color purple, and her family and friends. You will always be in our hearts, our loving Sue.
