Stanton Keith Sollom

Stanton Keith Sollom, 81, died on 6/25/2008 in Bremerton. He was born on 10/05/1926 in Fargo, ND to Alfred and Hulda (Peterson) Sollom. He graduated from Aakers Bus. College in Grand Forks, ND. He married Margaret C. Murphy in Grand Forks 5/1/1946. He proudly served in the Navy in the Seabees division and was stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He worked for PSNS for 30 yrs. as a General Foreman in Shop 56, before retiring in 1981. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed ice hockey, his Norwegian heritage, and bowling. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren deeply. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers; Clayton and Richard, and sister; Ramona. He is survived by his daughter Kathy (Bill) English, sons; Richard (Chris) Sollom and John (Sally) Sollom, brothers; Miles and Ralph, grandchildren; Heidi, Corey, Tim, Brian, Christine, Nick, great-grandchildren; Aidan, Benjamen, T.J., and Morganne, B-I-L; John (Margaret) Murphy, D-I-L; Kathy McInnes, caregiver; Joyce David, S-I-L; Jean Murphy and Agnes Stewart. A Funeral service will be held 6/28/2008 at 11 AM at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A public viewing is scheduled at 10 AM in the chapel until the service.
