Port Orchard, Washington
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Joy McKinley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on October 5, 1937, in Glendale, California, Sandra Joy passed away on August 1, 2025, in her home in Port Orchard, Washington. Sandra Joy was a talented florist in the retail industry, creating beauty and spreading joy to all who received her masterful arrangements. Devoted to her craft, she was known for her supportive nature and loving spirit.
Sandra Joy was a dedicated member of the Assemblies of God Church, always holding steadfast in her faith. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. Her faith was a beacon of light in her life, guiding her in all her endeavors.
What mattered most to Sandra Joy were her family and her faith. She was the beloved wife of James McKinley, and a cherished mother to her children, Michael, Shelly, and Cynthia. Her love extended generously to her ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Her departure is a great loss to her loved ones, but they take comfort in knowing she has gone home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Wiest.
In this time of sorrow, we invite all those who knew Sandra Joy to leave their precious memories and upload photos to the memorial page. These shared moments and images will serve as a lasting tribute to her life, her faith, and the love she had for her family.
