Roslyn Barbara Wisner, born on March 19, 1941, in Paterson, NJ, was a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. As a talented Rescue Squad Captain, she saved countless lives, showcasing her resilience in the face of danger. Her courageous spirit was a testament to her character, and her humble demeanor was a breath of fresh air amid the chaos of the world. Roslyn spent the latter part of her life in Poulsbo, Washington, where she lived for 16 years.
Roslyn's life was one of service and courage. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." Roslyn embodied this sentiment fully. Her inner strength and bravery were evident in her chosen profession. She was a woman who faced the world head-on, never backing down from a challenge – a true embodiment of resilience. She was not only a hero in her professional life but also a pillar of support in her personal life. Her son, Michael Wisner, will forever hold dear the memories they created together.
Roslyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Morris and Faye Kurtz, whose love and guidance shaped Roslyn into the remarkable woman she was. She is survived by her son, Michael Wisner, who will continue to honor her legacy.
Please, let us celebrate Roslyn's life by sharing our memories and photographs on her memorial page. Each memory shared will keep the spirit of Roslyn alive, reminding us all of her talent, courage, humility, and resilience.
