Ronald Stephen Sura

Ronald Stephen Sura a current resident of Bremerton and in many years the Tacoma area, passed away at the age of 52 following a brave and humble fight with COPD.
Ronald was known as Ronnie to family members and Ron to others.

He graduated from Central Kitsap High School in1980.
He was member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bremerton.
He married Anna Elia in Bremerton on June 9, 1983. Although no longer married they remained friends.
He was highly skilled and greatly appreciated for hard work as a painter for most of his life.

Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors with family and friends which included camping, fishing, hunting as a youth, and river rafting in Eastern Washington. He enjoyed working on his yard which always was one of the best groomed in his neighborhood. He took a special interest in celebrating holidays which could be seen in and around his home. He was a "12th Man" Seahawks enthusiast and made many trips to the Seahawks home games. When it came to gatherings of family and friends you could always count on him to bring a warm-hearted presence and laughter to the occasion.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Roman & Clarice Sura, his sisters Renee Weitzman and Mary Jean Cox.

Survivors include his son Justin (Julia) Sura of Everett WA, sister Audrey Gregg of Federal Way WA, brother Jim (Arleen) Sura of Bremerton WA, sister Cheryl (Al) Bennett of Bremerton. He also had a very special relationship with his many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held January 22, 2015 at "Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church" (4215 Pine Road Northeast, Bremerton, WA 98310). Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
