Richard A Mahai

Richard A. Mahai passed away on July 31, 2019, in Bainbridge, WA. He was born June 8, 1932, in Duluth, MN. Parents Edward Mahai and Grace (Betts) Mahai proceeded him in death. Also, preceded in death were brothers Tom and Jack, sister Doris Mahai Falk, one granddaughter, one niece, stepmother Leona and two former wives. He is survived by daughters Wendy Halverson, Cheryl (Tim) Zastrow, and Diane (Dale) Davidson, brother Robert (Charlotte) Mahai, sisters Patricia (Ron) Mahai and Marie (Lester) Ludtke, sister-in-law Marian Mahai, stepson and stepdaughter, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends.

Dick's work history included City Wide Delivery Service in Duluth and a maintenance supervisor for a casino in Reno, NV. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Dick was passionate about the military and stock car racing. He loved a good game of cribbage, was a good listener and very caring person.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
