Raymond Bernt Olson Obituary (1938

Raymond Bernt Olson, 81, of Poulsbo, WA, passed away on April 27, 2020. Born in Eau Claire, WI on July 29, 1938, Ray went on graduate from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and entered a Master Carpentry Apprenticeship. He used this education by working as a master carpenter for over 30 years. Ray also worked as a buyer for Johnson Controls for over 20 years. Ray was a past member of the Elks, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing, personal carpentry projects, and being with his family, especially his grandkids. Ray adopted his granddaughter and raised her. He found joy in family and took care of them until his passing. Ray is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Vanessa. Ray's memory will live on with his wife, Sara J. Olson; son, Timothy Stabler (Roni); daughters, Tonya Leger, and Tosha Camus; brother, Jim Olson; sisters, Susan Smith and Roberta Balm; grandchildren, Dylon, Dakota, Krista, Alan, Rachel, James, Tommy, Sam, Liset and Amber; and great-grandchildren, Malorie, Corbin, Gracie, Alexander Ray, Theodore Ray, Ashton and Jackson. Services for Ray will be private.
