Rachael Anderson

Rachael Elizabeth Anderson, born on August 14, 1947, in Long Beach, CA, was called home to be with her Savior on March 29, 2026. Raised in Seal Beach, CA, she was the youngest of ten children. A resident of Port Orchard, Washington for the last thirty-seven years, Rachael's life was a testament to her profound faith, and her love for Jesus.
In 1989, Rachael moved to Washington, where she married her husband, Ed Anderson. Together, they discovered a shared passion for quilting and started selling their beautiful creations at the local Farmer’s Market. They named their business Pookie Creations after their granddaughter.

Rachael was an inspiring figure to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her generous heart and strong faith were evident in her life and in the last years she lived at Port Orchard Life Care Center. She dearly loved her nineteen nieces and nephews, and her great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Viola Bender, and her husband Edward Anderson.
