Myron Rodger Kehler

On Monday, January 9, 2023, Myron Kehler, loving husband, and father of five children
passed away at the age of 82 after a long battle with cancer.
Myron was born on December 11, 1940, in Altona, Manitoba, Canada. He lived in Canada
until meeting his wife of 60 years, MaryAnn Kehler (Rene), married on September 14, 1962.
They moved to Poulsbo, Washington in 1967, raising five children and making their life
there until his death. He worked as a Land Surveyor at Roats Engineering and ADA
Engineering in Poulsbo for 39 years, retiring in 2006. Over the years, Myron was an active
member of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway. In his younger years, Myron enjoyed bird and elk
hunting. He also enjoyed camping with his family and grilling on the BBQ.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents, Henry, and Hilda Kehler. He is survived by his
wife, MaryAnn Kehler, daughter Angie (David) Carlson and children Jessica and Jason
(Silverdale, WA); daughter Patty (Dan) Harrell (Redding, CA); son Mike (Kris) Kehler and
children Nick, Katie and Madelyn (Moses Lake, WA); daughter Laurie Kehler (Poulsbo,
WA); daughter Julie (Duane) Lampert and children Emily, Jacob and Thomas (Broadview
Heights, OH); sister Arlene (Keith) Jardine (Calgary, AB, Canada); sister Ingrid (Don) Heide
(Sanford, MB, Canada); Bernice (Archie) Heinrichs (Plum Coulee, MB, Canada).
Funeral Service will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Poulsbo, Washington on Friday,
January 20, 2023, at 11:00am.
