Michael H. Hudson

Michael Harvey Hudson, age 72, passed away Sunday April 2, 2017 in Bremerton, surrounded by family.

Michael was born to Harvey and Mildred Hudson in Bremerton, Washington on November 1, 1944 and graduated from West High School in 1964. He worked for many years in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and then joined his father, working in the family business, Harvey's Butter Rum Batter, which he helped to run. He was a friend to many, a stranger to none.

After going through the Boy Scout program himself, receiving The Order of the Arrow, he shared the Scouting tradition with his son and grandsons becoming a Boy Scout leader and then a Scout Master.

He was active in Chief Kitsap Lions and was past president.

Michael enjoyed swap meets, garage sales, gun & knife shows, drag racing with his grandsons, and car shows with a special interest in AMC cars.

In 1965 he married Michaeleene Vant Robertson, who survives him at the family home. Michael is also survived by his son Wade Hudson, daughter Heather Hudson and his grandchildren: Barbara Baker, Brandon Hudson, Jacob Schraw and Michael Pauley Jr.; brother Dennis Hudson, and sisters Lynn Ogren and Jill Giddings.
