Mary "CoCo" Delores Warcup Obituary (1930

Mary Dolores "CoCo" Warcup, 78, died on Jan. 29, 2009 in Bremerton. She was born on Oct. 5, 1930 to George and Mary (Scully) Connolly in Bremerton. She attended Star of The Sea Catholic School and graduated from Bremerton HS in 1948. She later went on to attend Olympic College, where she graduated with a degree in nursing in 1973. She married William Warcup in Port Orchard on Aug. 16, 1952. Mary worked as a nurse, LPN at Harrison Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1993. She was also a homemaker and a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church. She enjoyed socializing with her friends, family and fellow nurses, traveling with her husband in their RV, gardening, and playing the piano. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister; Margaret Yeager. She is survived by her husband William Warcup, son; Bob (Kathy) Warcup, daughters; Vicki (Pall) Gudgeirsson, Cathy (John Argule) Wagner, Mary Lou (Bryan) Foreman, sister; Eileen Richardson, 5 grandchildren; Christine, Kevin, Kenzie, Taylor, and Zack, 3 great-grandchildren; Hunter, Thorunn and Tad. Memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633. A funeral service will be held Feb. 5 at 11AM at Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church followed by a graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton. Prior to the funeral service a rosary will take place at 10:30 AM at OLSOS.
