Marcia LaRae Moon

Marcia LaRae Moon, 68, of Kingston, WA, passed away on September 6, 2021. She was born on July 15, 1953 to Edwin A. and Letamae (Hillier) Moon. Marcia received her education at Holly Ridge Center and later worked with the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, receiving a certificate of appreciation for her time there. Marcia held memberships in ARC Community, Special Olympics, and Holly Ridge Bowling Community. In her spare time, Marcia loved watching Mariners and Seahawk games, and could holler and yell with the best! Collecting purses and hats were one of her passions and there were never enough! She would get so excited opening her presents because she knew one of those would be wrapped as a gift. The Hallmark Channel was her favorite show to watch on T.V. Bowling was another fun pastime for her. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents. Marcia's memory will live on with her brothers, Ronald Moon of Kingston, WA, Larry (Teresa) Moon of WA, and Rick (Melissa) Moon of Poulsbo; sisters, Juanita Martin (Richard) of Kingston, WA and Carmen Scalzo (Mike) of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law's, Judy (Moon) Eliason and Diane Moon, 10 cousins, 7 nieces, and 7 nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at Bayside Community Church in Kingston on September 30, 2021 at 11:30am. Thank you to Marcia's caregivers, Suzanne Jenny and Rhonda Corey for their love and care. Marcia will forever be with us in our hearts. She was a beautiful soul given to us from heaven above. So happy and full of love. This will be a closed memorial per family's request.
