Linda L Ungren Obituary (1946

Linda Lee Ungren, age 63, of Bremerton, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at Harrison Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1946 to Clarence and Mable (McCumber) Jordin in Ellensburg. On July 17, 1969 she was married to Kenneth Ungren in Bremerton. She earned her LPN License while employed at St. Joe's in Tacoma in the late 1960's and her RN License at Olympic Community College in the early 1980's. Linda was also employed by Harrison Medical Center, The Children's Clinic, The Doctor's Clinic, and finally as a Charge Nurse and RN at Naval Hospital Bremerton where she retired after 18 years in 2008. Linda enjoyed reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her children and family. Her parents Clarence and Mable Jordin, and all of her siblings Ronald, Howard, Larry, and Beverly precede her in death. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Ungren; her two sons Timothy of Bothell and Mark of Chandler, AZ; her three grandchildren Allison (5), Lauren (3), and Ryan (2); and her mother in law Norma Jones. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2009, 2 PM at Chico Alliance Church, 3670 Chico Way NW, Bremerton, WA.
