Kalani R. Deacon Obituary (1973

Kalani Rodd Deacon, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2021. Kalani was born on January 8, 1973 in Honolulu Hawaii to Roberta and Rodd Deacon. His father Rodd passed away when Kalani was 8 years old. His mother Roberta then married George Smith, Smitty, who took the role as his stepfather. Kalani graduated from Mid Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii. He had a successful career as a Real Estate Agent and Broker in Hawaii and Washington. Kalani married Sheri in 2001, they shared 20 adventure-filled years together. Kalani welcomed and helped raise Rachael and Blake, then he and Sheri had two sons together, Kody and Tyler. Kalani adored his children and had the privilege of being a grandpa, "Paka", to two beautiful granddaughters. Besides spending time with family and friends, Kalani loved being in the ocean, including swimming, surfing, fishing and diving. He had a fondness of the Hawaiian culture, snowboarding, and his beloved dogs. He had a passion for life and his sense of humor was off the charts. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Aloha Kalani, we love you!!!
