Judith Wales

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judy Wales, born Judith Marie Slettedahl on April 29, 1939, in Tacoma, WA, USA. Judith was called to her heavenly home on May 12, 2026. A resident of Poulsbo, Washington for 56 years, she was an active member of Vinland Lutheran Church and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Judith was a thoughtful and supportive woman, always a loyal friend. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she lived out her beliefs through her consistent acts of kindness and love. As a homemaker by trade, Judith's nurturing spirit extended beyond her own home. She was always there to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a comforting word. Her life was a living embodiment of the scripture, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Judith is survived by her son, Jeff Morgan (Shannon), daughter Julie Sorensen (Roy), son David Morgan and daughter Peggy Morgan (Russel). Her grandchildren: Ben, Wes, Shannon, Marc, Andrew, Jon, Brian, Christin, William, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Milla Slettedahl and Daughter in law Carolyn Morgan. The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, 11:30 am at Vinland Lutheran Church, 2750 Northwest Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, Washington, 98370. Following the services, the family invites you to join them for a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
