Juanita Mary Patricia Rushing

Juanita Rushing, of Poulsbo, passed away at Harrison Medical Center on July 23, 2010 at the age of 83. Nita was born in Louisiana to Leon and Mamie (Wagner) Dixon on March 8, 1927 and spent her childhood there before moving to Washington where she spent the rest of her life with her family.

She is survived by her children, Ann and Sam Culver, Ken Gentry, and Johnny Rushing; her four grandchildren, Jeanette, Sheila (Kevin), Joe, and Erin; and great grandchildren Jeff and Emma. She also leaves behind her very dear friend and guardian angel Donna and faithful best friend Tuffy.
