Jonathan Abromowski

Jonathan Abromowski, known affectionately by his loved ones as Jonny, was born on May 26, 1987, in Norwood, MA, USA. Jonny was a loving and supportive son, brother and uncle. He was larger than life, full of humor, and always good for an absolutely ridiculous gift for his nieces that they were sure to think was the greatest thing they had ever seen simply because it was from their beloved “Auntie Jonny”.

His early years were spent in North Attleborough, Massachusetts and he later spent time moving around the state before finally settling in Kingston, Washington in 2023, where he resided for the last three years and worked as a civilian machinist for the US Navy. His love for working with his hands extended beyond his occupation; in his spare time, Jonny was an avid wood turner and chef, both interests that he passionately pursued. He loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking, sharing stories, creating memories, and always making us all laugh until our faces hurt.

Jonny is survived by his father John Abromowski, mother Rita Abromowski, sister Jacqueline Hanson, brother-in-law Matthew Hanson, and cherished nieces Abby and Lily.

His family will be receiving guests on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:00am PST at The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary, 22272 Foss Road Northeast, 9004, Poulsbo, Washington, 98370. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am MDT at the same location.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at his sister’s home in Ashby, Massachusetts on May 30, 2027. All those who loved him are invited to join his family in celebration of his super weird, super wonderful, super full, and altogether too short life.
