John Postma

John Postma, 93, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Bremerton, Washington.

Born on February 12, 1932, in Heerlen, Netherlands. John built a life defined by hard work and kindness. He worked as a machinist, dedicating his career to precision and craftsmanship.

John was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Theresa. He is survived by his three sons, Casey, John Jr., and Ricky; four grandchildren, Casey Jean, James, Sara, and Shawn; and his great-granddaughter, Rebeka.

Beyond his work and family, John had a passion for chess and enjoyed the strategic challenge it provided. Known for his friendly nature, he never missed an opportunity to greet those he encountered with a warm hello.

John’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
