Jean Elizabeth McAboy

Jean Elizabeth McAboy passed away at her home on October 14, 2004, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 11, 1923 in Bremerton, WA to Thomas C. and Ione (Grabbe) Wardell. Jean was a lifelong resident of Bremerton. She graduated from Bremerton High School with the class of 1941. She was a devoted homemaker whose family was her main focus. Jean enjoyed boating, sewing, and reading. She is survived by her children David and wife Carol McAboy of Kingston, Steven and wife Linda of Poulsbo, Linda Merrifield of Silverdale, Sue and husband Vince Eilers of Bremerton; sister Nancy and husband Walt Burnett of San Mateo, CA, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Edgar. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Kitsap County.
