Jamie Russell Augustine

Jamie Russell Augustine, 70, passed away on January 29, 2024 after a five-year battle with advanced stage colon cancer. Born on May 17, 1953 in Mason City, IA to Roger and Kathryn Russell, Jamie would go on to graduate from Simpson College in Indianola, IA receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, minoring in music. Jamie married LeRoy Augustine in 1987, and would welcome their only child, Nicholas, later the following year. She retired after 36 years working for RPS/NIPC. In her spare time, Jamie enjoyed building LEGOs, reading mystery thrillers and Christmas themed novels, as well as doing various arts and crafts. She also enjoyed going for scenic drives around the Puget Sound and was an avid Mariners fan. Jamie's memory will live on with her husband, LeRoy; son, Nicholas; and siblings, Cheri, Kathie, Cindy, and Tim. A memorial service will be held at The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary on Friday, May 17th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society - National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable.
