Irene F. Gordon

Irene Gordon, age 89, of Bremerton died December 15, 2005 at Northwoods Lodge. She was born July 16, 1916 in Portland, Oregon to Hugh A. and Elva (Noble) Raymond. She graduated from Ballard High School with the class of 1934 and on Aug. 20, 1936 she married Joseph F. Gordon in Seattle, WA. Irene worked for Washington Mutual from 1958 until her retirement in 1979. She enjoyed reading, her kitty "Pretty Girl", walking at the Woodland Park Zoo with the Zoo Walker and traveling especially with the Senior Safari traveling group. She is survived by her daughter Terry Lee and husband Michael Miller of Keyport; grandchildren J.T. Skeens, Kenneth Miller and wife Alison, Michelle Donalson and Claudia Suldan; her brother Hugh A. Raymond and many special friends at Comfort Keepers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. No formal services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Group Health Hospice or Kitsap County Humane Society. Arrangements under the direction of The Stone Chapel, Poulsbo, WA.
