Donna Jean Prather

On July 14th, 2020, Donna Jean Prather, a devout Christian, passed away at the age of 83.

Donna was born on January 24th, 1937 in Elgin, Illinois. She was raised by her loving parents Alice Margaret (Mockler) Ehorn & Step father, George Weller Ehorn.

On August 13, 1960 Donna was wed to Robert Alfred Prather in Long Beach, CA. They later divorced. They raised two sons, Chet & Wayne.

For many years, she worked as a cook at Bernice's Steak House. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1980. Following college, she worked for the Naval Supply Center in Bremerton, WA for 25 years.

Donna had a love for the Lord, gardening, her dog Shotzie, cooking, & her family.

She was known for her sense of humor, warm giving heart, & infectious smile with a laugh to match.

Donna is survived by her two sons, Chet and Wayne (Lennie), Granddaughter Nicole (26) and Grandson Evan (21)
