Don Hamilton

Don E. Hamilton, 76, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. Don was born on November 24, 1949, in Pullman, WA. Don graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1967. Don was a loving husband to Teresa (Kirkman) Hamilton, whom he married on December 5, 1970. Don retired in 2012 from his career in real estate at John L Scott in Poulsbo. He enjoyed fishing in Lake Chelan, traveling, gardening, golf and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. Don remained active in the community by volunteering for the North Kitsap Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament and the Poulsbo Historical Society. Most importantly Don loved spending time with his family, and sharing stories or a funny joke with his grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Mary Hamilton, and his siblings Kathy DeVoe, Doug Hamilton, Charlie Hamilton, and Heather Ledford. He leaves behind his wife Teresa, his children Kelley (Nate) Walters and Jarrod (Katie) Hamilton, his grandchildren Tyler (Julia), Sarah, Shelby, Natalie, great-granddaughter Romy and several nieces and nephews. Don's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His dedicated service, loving nature, thoughtful character, and witty humor will leave a lasting imprint on his family and friends.
