Dominic DeJesus, 36, passed away on August 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, talent, and unforgettable memories.

Dominic was a devoted father to Saya, Thalia, and Kai, who were among the greatest loves of his life. He was the seventh of nine children born to David and Doris DeJesus, and family was always at the heart of who he was.

Dominic was a hardworking, talented, and ambitious man who seemed to have a gift for everything he put his heart into. He was an incredible basketball and volleyball player, a gifted artist, a lover of music, and an exceptional cook. He had a natural ability to bring people together through the things he loved. He was also a gifted basketball coach, sharing his knowledge, passion, and encouragement with players of all ages.

Beyond his many talents, Dominic will be remembered most for the person he was. He was strong, resilient, intelligent, funny, handsome, loyal, and deeply caring. He had a good soul and a presence that left an impression on the people fortunate enough to know him.

To his children’s mother, Leilani, Dominic was more than a co-parent. He was her greatest best friend—someone who shared years of life, memories, laughter, challenges, and love. Their bond was one that went beyond words and will remain a meaningful part of their family forever.

Dominic’s life was far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he created will continue through his children, his family, and everyone whose life he touched.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
