Port Orchard, Washington
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of David A. Blinn, 40, of Port Orchard. He left a family who loved him on March 20th, 2025. He was born on May 5th, 1984 in Tacoma, Washington to Kenneth A. and Becky L. (Rushing) Blinn. He attended South Kitsap High School obtaining a GED. David had a few friends in school but was mostly on the introverted side, preferring to listen to music, writing code along with programming with his computer, creating poetry and dabbling in the artistic side of his nature. David loved to create things from nothing and turn it into something, finding himself filled with pride, thrilled and inspired to make more.
For a time he worked in the shipyard but later found a true passion behind the lens of his camera, becoming a freelance photographer. He loved taking photos of nature and people, capturing a divine smile and the beautiful scenery Washington state has to offer. David was so intelligent and loved many activities throughout his life such as welding, fishing, working with wood as well as landscaping, fixing and restoring computers, and countless other activities including shopping on Amazon, although his main passions were photography and computers.
He was a very caring person and had such a big heart, helping others any chance he got. Although he was struggling with internal demons most of his life, David always tried to be the best father/son/brother/ and friend he could possibly be. He would help his son Alan with his car even if everything was figured out, and David would be right by Alan's side whether Alan needed him or not. David is survived by his son Alan J. Blinn, his parents, Kenneth and Becky (Rushing) Blinn, his Brother Mark J (Holly) Blinn, Sister Kathleene M (Jonathan) Rogers, his Aunt Shirly Dufrense, Uncles Jack and Gary Rushing along with Nieces Bekah Blinn, Justine, McKenna and Alexis Burbank, Madison and Aili Maki, and his former Wife Sabrina L Wright, who is the mother to their only son, Alan.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Byron and Bonnie Blinn, his Uncle Richard Blinn, Uncle Richard and Rocky Rushing, Aunt Colleen Larson and niece Michaila Burbank.
Until we meet again in heaven, you will be sincerely loved and missed.

Dance with Death
In shadows deep, where pain resides, A soul ensnared by opiate tides. A dance with demons, a desperate plea, The needle's kiss, sweet agony.
Veins like rivers, once pure and free, Now channels for poison, a cruel decree. The rush, the haze, a fleeting bliss, A fragile heart, a life amiss.
Eyes hollow, sunken, lost in trance, Chasing oblivion, a desperate chance. The world fades, colors bleed to gray, As time slips through trembling veins.
Whispers of escape, a siren's call, Promises of solace, a final fall. The needle punctures, a silent scream, A soul unraveled, lost in the dream.
Fading pulse, a fragile thread, The opiate embrace, a lover's dread. In shadows deep, the final breath, A tragic end, to the Dance with Death.
