Cesar Laurel Filomeno

Cesar Laurel Filomeno, aka "Daddy Cole," was born in Cebu City, Philippines on Aug 29, 1923. He passed away Jan 15, 2010 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. Cesar was an English professor with an education degree from the University of the Visayas. He retired as a finishing department supervisor of Picop in Bislig, Surigao Del Sur. He was an active member of the grandparents program, wherein he volunteered at Francis Huddon Morgan Center for autistic children and also at Viewridge Elementary School. He was vice president of the Filipino Senior Citizens Association of Kitsap County. Cesar is survived by his wife, Elisa; son, Gary (Becca); daughters, Cecily (Eddie) and Chona (Rommel); grandchildren, Charisma, Kurt, Elke, Cookie (Mark), Milky (Lorenzo), Chippy, Claudine, Candice, and Roen; and great-grandchildren Eunice, Charles, Chyle, Caedence, Caeleb, Lulu, Zachary, Izaiah, Lucas, Kugi, Giku, and Faith. Viewing will take place from Jan 20 to 22 between 10 am and 5 pm at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way, Bremerton. A memorial service will be announced later.
