Cathleen Mae McCarty

Cathleen Mae McCarty, lovingly known as Cathy, was born on March 29, 1959, in Bremerton, Washington, and passed away on October 20, 2026.

Cathy appreciated the simple comforts of life and was happiest at home, enjoying time to herself, relaxing, and tending to her garden. She especially loved the holiday season and the warmth and familiarity it brought. She had her own way of enjoying life and found happiness in the things that made her feel most at home.

Cathy spent many years working in administrative roles in the medical field, where she brought years of dedication and experience to her work. She retired in 2023.

Above all, Cathy cared deeply about her family. She took great pride in her grandchildren, as well as her brother’s children and grandchildren. She shared a special connection with her mother and father through their many long conversations and valued the time she spent with her brother, sister, and sister-in-law, Cindy McCarty. Though she enjoyed the comfort of her own space, her family remained an important part of her life.

Cathy will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for the life she lived, the connections she shared with her family, and the memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those closest to her.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Adamski; her son, Chris Luzik; her brother, Tim McCarty; and her sister, Colleen Pylilo. She was preceded in death by her father, Tim McCarty, and her son, Timothy Luzik.
