Carol Jean Noble Croff

October 20, 1952 - March 27, 2025

Carol Jean passed away at her home after sixteen years of fighting esophageal cancer and other medical complications. She was the first girl born in Seattle of Canadian immigrants L. Russell Noble and Mona Dolena Martyn Noble, and graduated from Queen Anne High School (‘69), and the University of Washington (‘74).

Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by husband Stan, sons Mark (Serena) and Stuart (Jayme), grandchildren Leo, Pender, Sydney and Ezra, brother Russell Scott Noble (Joan), sister Tyrone Noble Townsend (Hubie), faithful dog Oliver, as well as numerous cousins in British Columbia and Ontario.

Carol was effervescent in life! Professionally she was a consummate, caring and thorough nurse who served in many medical capacities. Personally, as one who constantly expressed genuine interest in others, she was gracious and kind, and greeted all with a big smile.

A lover of nature, her favorite places on earth were her garden, and the Noble’s family camp “Glen Whorple” on North Pender Island in the Gulf Islands, British Columbia. As an avid outdoors woman and artist, she created an incredible garden. Over time, her beautiful flowers became photographs and greeting cards which were enjoyed by many.

One of Carol’s final wishes was to let her friends know how much she appreciated their friendship, and the time taken to visit with her often, bringing her much joy. Thank you so very, very much.
