Berneta Inga Marie Likens

Berneta Inga Marie Likens of Poulsbo, Washington passed away on May 24, 2003 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 83 years of age.

She was born on July 9, 1919 in Ragan, Nebraska to John C. and Charlotta S. (Ferdinand) Anderson.

She graduated from high school in Ragan and went on to be a homemaker. She married Dean A. Likens.

She was a member of Rebekah Lodge and WCTU. She enjoyed sewing and helping others through volunteer service. She also belonged to the Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, Dean A. Likens of Poulsbo; son Dallas D. Likens of Poulsbo; daughter Joan M. Hammer of Dallas, Texas; brother Lawrence Anderson of Alma, Nebraska; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A brother, Arlie Anderson; and sister Myrtle Anderson precede her in death.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to The Seattle Breast Cancer Center at Northwest Hospital (1550 N 115th ST Seattle, WA 98133).
