Our Father's intense love bonded all his children, grand-children, and great grand children together and his legacy will endure. He was a quite man, reserved and unique. Unique in his strength and his raw wisdom. He was quick to listen and slow to anger. And never did he sugar coat anything you needed to know and that made him powerful. But he also gave you a sense of hope and direction which stemmed from his strong faith in Christ. His Lord. Our Lord.

He passed away knowing his sons Anthony, Jesse, Kelvin and Jeffrey, and his daughters Jeanne, Patricia, Debbie and Sherrie will carry on his genuine love to the next generation. He was known as Pappy to his 14 grand children; James Holly, Kitearia, Hannah, Levi and Lani Mae Perez. Travis & Nina Sandbeck. Johnny & Jizeann Rogars. Athena Rosario. Anthony (TonTon) & Devin Perez. Madaline Caldwell and Lilly Perez. His great grand children; Kaleia, JT, Mya, & Elijah.

He is also deeply loved and remembered from the Perez/Cruz families of North Carolina; Manual & Antonia (sister) Cruz. From Guam by the families of Joseph & Mary (sister) Pablo, the Perez/Claveria families of Pugh & Ana (sister deceased), the families of Encarnacion Perez/ Recanor, and also of his only surviving brother's families of Peter Perez from Santa Rita. From the State of Massachusetts the Perez/Correia families of Edward & Elizabeth (sister deceased) Correia. From California & Virginia all the Perez/Dumanal families of Tomas & Florence (sister deceased) Dumanal, and also the Perez/Cruz families of Tony & Josephine (sister deceased) Cruz. Lastly to be remembered from the State of Hawaii, all the Perez families of Galo (brother deceased) & Chong Perez.

Anthony Mendiola Perez was the light in our eyes, the love in our hearts, and the strength in our souls. He instilled in us, the value of family, the essence of everlasting love. For he selflessly thought of others before himself. He a was a man of few words, patient, and nurturing. He spent his life in dedication to God and to his family as our provider, he made sure we never went without- spiritually, and emotionally. All that he did, he did for us. He humbly enjoyed the best gifts from God food, family, and friends. He was the heart of family gatherings, and like the netting of a strong foundation, he is not only what draws us together, but what internally binds us as well.
