Anna Rickel

Anna Marie Rickel was born June 22, 1959 in Waukegan, Illinois to Florence Manning and Richard Yost. She passed away on the morning of July 25, 2025 in Seattle, Washington at Harborview Medical Center with her husband by her side.

Anna attended Waukegan High School and received her Associate's Degree at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois. Anna was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Sharp Healthcare Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, retiring at 37 years of dedicated work. On April 16, 1994 she married Timothy R. Rickel in San Diego, California and had one son, Benjamin.

In her spare time, Anna enjoyed quilting and hanging around the house with her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Richard Yost, as well as her son, Benjamin Rickel. Anna is survived by her husband, Timothy, her brothers Thomas (Deanna) and Timothy (Brenda) Yost, and her 5 nieces and nephews.

She was loved in life and will be forever missed.

There will be a visitation for Anna for any friends and family wishing to pay their respects. The visitation will take place at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, WA on August 7, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation to the Kitsap Humane Society located on Dickey Road NW in Silverdale, WA in Anna's name.
