Kathryn A. (Cronin) Carpenter Obituary (1954

Bremerton, WA - On November 26, 2018, Kathy lost her second courageous battle with cancer, but not without a fight. Kathy was born on January 1, 1954 and was raised in Salem, MA. She attended St. James Grammar School and Salem High School, Class of 1972. After graduation, she worked for the Essex County Retirement Board, and was active for years on Salem's Heritage Days committee. In 1996 Kathy relocated to Keyport, WA. Until her death, Kathy was employed at the Bangor Mini Mart that was located on the Naval Base in Bremerton, WA. For the past 5 years, Kathy was involved with the American Cancer Society and participated in many Relay for Life events. Kathy was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Cuffe) Cronin. Kathy is survived by her sister, Marcia (Cronin) Ambrose and her husband, Jack of West Jefferson, NC; her brother, Kevin Cronin, of Salem, MA; her sister, Nancy Cronin, of Seabrook, NH; her cousin Steve and Laini Andrews of Topsfield, MA. She also leaves behind her nephew Jack Ambrose and his wife Caitlin of Uxbridge, MA.; her nephew Tom Ambrose of Lexington, KY; her niece Molly Andrews of Topsfield; her nephew Henry Andrews of San Francisco, CA.; her cousins, Anne (Cuffe) and John Payne of Malibu, CA; Sue Cuffe of Hana, HI: Mike Cuffe of Leona Valley, CA and Leslie (Cuffe) and Steven Deeds of Granada Hills, CA. Kathy also leaves behind her good friends Lynn and Milton Meeds of Keyport, WA, as well as all her friends and co-workers at the Mini Mart. Per Kathy's wishes a private memorial will be held by the family. Donations made be made in Kathy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
