Jorja Jermaine Simpson Obituary (1949

Jorja G. Packard-Simpson, 69, of Bremerton, passed away at her home on October 8, 2018. She was born on Aug. 16, 1949 in Norfolk, VA to George G. and June H. (Hanson) Packard. She was a graduate of North Kitsap High School. Jorja married William T. Simpson on Aug. 21, 1987 in Lake Tahoe, CA. She worked as a medical assistant for 49 years. Jorja enjoyed collecting dolls, and had an avid interest in cats, carousels and music. Her extensive music collection had a variety of genres. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jorja is survived by her husband, William and brother, Russell Packard of Sumner, WA. A memorial service will be held on November 15th at 1pm at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA 98312. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kitsap Humane Society.
