F.M. ''Red'' Patterson Obituary (1921

F.M. ''Red'' Patterson, age 81, entered into rest on Monday, November 11, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma, WA. He was a life resident of Bremerton, WA. He was born on May 23, 1921 in Spokane, WA to Clifford and Helen (Reynolds) Patterson. He entered into the United States Army in 1944 and served in the Pacific Theater where he earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. After getting out of the service in 1945, he went to work for PSNS in Bremerton as a machinist. He was also a co-owner of Patterson Brother's garage. He retired in 1976, and was a jack-of-all-trades who liked to do farming. Red is survived by his two sons, Luis A. Patterson of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael W. Patterson of Bremerton, WA; his two daughters; Roxanne Miller of Bremerton, WA, and Beverly McQueary of Silverdale, WA; his sister Morna Blessing of Bremerton, WA; and his two brothers Lloyd and Charles Patterson both of Bremerton and three grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2002 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA at 10:30 AM where interment will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, WA.
